The park encompasses 550 acres of parkland and 400 water acres. This year Hudson River Park marks its twentieth anniversary! To celebrate, join Untapped Cities for a tour of the park with the Director of Education and Outreach, Tina Walsh. On this tour of Manhattan’s west side waterfront park, guests will learn about important historic and ecological events that took place from the times of the Lenape Native Americans to the present day. Explore stories about the incredible oysters of New York Harbor, Manhattan’s changing shoreline and the revitalization of the west side through environmental activism.
