A Playground Made of Scaffolding Comes to Brooklyn
A pesky part of the urban environment becomes a place of play at Brooklyn Children's Museum!
Open House New York (OHNY) weekend, which celebrates architecture and urban design by opening extraordinary places to the public for talks, tours and other special programming, is coming up from October 18-20 this year. The full lineup of all 250+ participating sites has just been revealed. Some of the notable locations open this year include the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Gould Memorial Library, Surrogate’s Courthouse, and many others. Over the weekend some of the sites will require reservations, while others are open access. The more than 150 open-access sites are free to enter and do not require reservations, but they are subject to long lines. To beat the crowds, you can win an OHNY Weekend Passport, a VIP pin that gives the wearer and a guest front-of-the line admittance to all Open Access sites by entering our Untapped Cities raffle! If you are an Untapped Cities Insider, you can gain an extra entry. Enter below!
This prize is worth $150! Passport is valid for all Open Access locations during Saturday 10/19 and Sunday 10/20. Passports do not apply to Reservation Required sites. A winner will be selected and notified on Sunday, 10/13/2019.
