New Film Shows How Art Brings Life to Green-Wood Cemetery
Discover how the living and the dead make Green-Wood Cemetery a vibrant part of NYCs cultural scene!
Virtual reality is a rapidly growing field of technology which allows people to have experiences they could once only dream of before. The Museum of Future Experiences, a new entertainment company which debuted in New York City this summer, is employing this technology to craft personalized, mind-bending experiences. Blending virtual reality, psychology and immersive theater, the company’s first experience is a 60-minute cerebral exploration and it takes place inside the former SoHo loft of renowned artist Andy Warhol.
This MoFE experience is a personalized journey based on individual analysis and curated to suite each participant’s unique psyche. In small groups of just six or less, under the guidance of a trained facilitator, participants advance through four different stages of audio-visual stimulation, dreamlike virtual realities, moments of self-reflection, rich soundscapes, and artistic projections. The experience includes visuals created by artist Flatsitter and the Hyrbid Movement Company.
