MONDAY, JULY 1: For three days only this July, come see a copy of the Declaration of Independence, written in Thomas Jefferson’s own hand, and one of the remaining original copies of the Bill of Rights. New York Public Library Stephen A. Schwarzman Branch at 42nd St, 2nd floor. FREE.

TUESDAY, JULY 2: Join The Freedom Dance Party as they celebrate 10 years of weekly parties with a huge live performance with Funk and R&B legend, Cameo! Part of SummerStage. 6-10pm at Rumsey Playfield, Central Park. FREE.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 3: MoMA presents its first major exhibition on the work of Le Corbusier (Charles-Édouard Jeanneret, 1887–1965), encompassing his work as an architect, interior designer, artist, city planner, writer, and photographer. Ongoing until September 23 with a Member gallery talk at 12:30pm. MoMA, 11 West 53rd Street.

THURSDAY, JULY 4: Second Annual Dances of Vice Rockabilly Night Market. A fantastic program of live bands, performers, DJs and vintage car show presented among the exciting backdrop of a bustling vintage, craft and food fair makes for an unforgettable night. Have your photo taken in our Pinup Photobooth by Anna Fischer Photography, get a pinup hair makeover done by Pin Me Up Hair, who will also be doing vintage hair demonstrations all night, and win prizes from our vendors in our twist contest! 7pm at SRB Brooklyn, 177 2nd Avenue, Brooklyn. $10-$15. FRIDAY, JULY 5: Get ready for French restaurant week and learn to make French macarons, the colorful and tasty confections that bring sophistication to any table. Join pastry chef Olivier Dessyn of Mille-feuille in his Greenwich Village bakery for a hands-on lesson in baking these notoriously difficult treats. SATURDAY, JULY 6: Jump aboard New York’s largest sailing vessel with Underground Eats & the craft beer experts from Urban Oyster, and get introduced to the wonderful, reinvigorated world of craft beer. 12pm-1:45pm at Clipper City Public Sails (Pier 17), South Street Seaport. $60. Buy tickets here.
