About the event:

On this walk you’ll discover the unique history and geography of both neighborhoods while uncovering some of the fun secrets that bind them.  Not only was this area the site of a battle that helped shape a very rough-and-tumble Continental Army in 1776. It’s also where George Washington wanted to put the nation’s capitol. Now it is the site of Columbia’s new campus which we will explore as well. And the tour will end down the street from Dinosaur BBQ should you feel the urge to indulge in that Fourth of July tradition as well.
