About the event:

The Fabbri Mansion at 7 East 95th Street was constructed between 1914 and 1916. It was built for Edith Shepard Fabbri, a great granddaughter of Commodore Cornelius Vanderbilt, and her husband, Ernesto Fabbri, an associate of J. Pierpont Morgan and a former Italian Count. The building was designed by noted Beaux Arts architect Grosvenor Atterbury with interiors decorated by Ernesto’s brother, Egisto. The impressive home is filled with priceless Italian Renaissance and Baroque furnishings and architectural fragments that were shipped over from Europe.

On this tour, you’ll explore the public rooms of this landmarked building, a retreat house that serves as a community center as well as a place of reflection, study, fellowship, and prayer.
