About the event:

During this 90-minute tour, you will explore the art and architecture of the world’s largest Gothic cathedral! Climb spiral staircases up over 12 stories to see the stained-glass windows with astonishing detail and explore the engineering that holds up this masonry marvel. While within the walls, you’ll experience a rare glimpse into the architecture and artistry that is involved in building a sacred space from stone and glass. Explore the masterful Guastavino spiral staircase which is typically closed to the public and will be viewable on this tour especially for Insiders, and end your program on the roof of the Cathedral overlooking the skyline of Manhattan.

This adventurous program requires the use of many stairs and is best for those comfortable with heights and enclosed spaces. Comfortable shoes and water bottles are recommended. Must be 12 years of age or older.
