About the event:

The same week their first daughter Emma was born, Christina and Felix lost their beloved first Manhattan apartment. It led them on a wild hunt and eventually, they decided to embark on a real-time experiment: living in a different NYC neighborhood every month, for one year. While rough at the outset, their year of moving turned into a life-changing experience – and eventually led not only to a new home, but also to a bestselling book, published in Germany, and most recently, a unique, road trip-style audio book. In the meantime, Christina and Felix, now parents of two daughters, have found a more stable place to live, near the Museum of Natural History on Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

Join Christina and Felix for a talk about their journey of living in different neighborhoods across the five boroughs and of their adventures in interviewing memorable characters in their communities to find out what is at the heart of being a New Yorker!
