  • 5 star ratingA couple of hours very well spent The clue's in the title *Secrets* of Grand Central. There is so much more to it than that magnificent main hall. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and I think we were nearly overwhelmed by all the historical information and anecdotes. Last time in NY I regretted not doing this tour and I'm so glad I fitted it in this time. Cannot recommend too highly. Will probably do it again next time.

  • 5 star ratingGreat tour! Put this on your list of things to do! Booked this tour because I was visiting my son and staying close to Grand Central Station. It exceeded my expectations. Jonathan our tour guide was excellent! He learned everyone’s names and where they were from, making for a fun experience. For fans of The Gilded Age , you will learn a lot about the history of NY in the early 1900’s. Highly recommend!

5 star ratingVery enjoyable Great tour. Tour guide was very knowledgeable, a lot of interesting facts about Grand Central itself. I definitely recommend going on a weekday so that you can go to the oyster bar as well. Costs a bit more, but worth it.

  • 5 star ratingFantastic Behind the Scenes Tour of Grand Central.... History and Fun Absolutely amazing walking tour of Grand Central. Our guide, Richard, was fantastic. He knowledge of the history of both Grand Central and the Vanderbilt family was tremendous. He made it fun and interesting, plus was willing to stop to answer questions. The Tour did a great job of taking us different areas of the station, even the tennis courts - who knew!!! Highly recommend Untapped New York, if possible ask for Richard as your guide. And I understand he also does a fabulous tour of NYC Gilded Age.

5 star ratingCatch this train! This was a great look at easily-missed details of Grand Central station. Louis (Lewis?) had really done his homework and brought along photos of the station and surround from years gone by. Without giving away any secrets I can say you will learn a great deal.
