9. The Freedom Festival at the Intrepid Museum
The Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum on Pier 86 is hosting its first annual Freedom Festival, featuring the likes of Queen Latifah, country singer Will Hoge, and Rachel Platten, whose soaring pop hit ‘Fight Song’ peaked at #1 on the charts last week. The event will take place on Pier 86 and is being held to benefit the Intrepid Museum and the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which has raised over $150 million in support of troops and their families.
