Here’s the latest item to add to the list of “things encountered on the New York City subway.” This time, we’re giving a nod (or a bow, really) to the man seen in the video above, who we shall henceforth refer to as the “Rubix Cube Man.”

We have to admit that solving a Rubik’s Cube on its own has sort of lost its novelty — commenters point to a pattern of algorithms that anyone can learn to crack the cube — but Rubik’s Cube Man isn’t just your ordinary puzzle aficionado. We quote the person who posted the Facebook video in stating:
“‘My mans solved the rubix cube with his eyes closed, a durag on, wearing saiyan armor & listening to music….He know some sh*t we don’t know.”
What’s also worthy of noting is that our “mans” is nonchalantly tossing the cube between each hand as he conquers it. While some commenters do not seem impressed, the team at Untapped Cities — none of whom know how to solve a Rubik’s Cube — call it pure wizardry. But really, what else would you expect to find on the New York City subway?
