The theaters of New York City are world-renowned institutions and some of the most spectacular architectural treasures of the city. This year TheatreCon, an annual week-long architectural tour highlighting the cultural and social relevance of America’s historic theaters, will bring guests into the iconic theaters and movie palaces of New York City to celebrate them by experiencing them. Marking its 50th anniversary, TheatreCon, presented by the Theatre Historical Society of America, will feature a week filled with borough-hopping tours of theaters in Times Square, Uptown Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island as well as New Jersey, and Connecticut.
