Start the season of Halloween off right with a spooky ghost tour of Flushing, Queens presented by Boroughs of the Dead. Created and led by Untapped Cities Insider and author Marie Carter, this two-hour tour will take guests into a New York City neighborhood with some of the oldest, best-preserved, and most historically significant buildings in the entire United States. Guests will examine the fascinating history of the neighborhood, as well as its abundant ghoulish and ghostly stories. Frights and Phantoms of Flushing will dissect some of the fears that have haunted its most storied residents (both living and dead), from fear of religious persecution and slavery to mortality, ghosts, and poverty.
