In 1981, NYC mayor Ed Koch proposed the use of wild wolves to solve the graffiti problem in the NYC subway. Now, a monument from the "Ed Koch Wolf Foundation" has appeared in Battery Park "dedicated to the many tourists that go missing every year in New York City. And a reminder as to why the parks close at dusk."
On March 23, 2011 the 59th Street/Queensboro Bridge was renamed the Edward I. Koch Bridge a scene shown in the documentary, Koch, about the former NYC mayor.
