Whenever we hear the word “Gotham,” many of us probably think of Batman and the DC Comics universe, Gotham City
It's Batman's 80th birthday and on Saturday night for Batman Day, the bat signal was projected in NYC and twelve other cities around the world. In Gotham, it lit up the side of the Domino Sugar Factory.
Bill Finger, the longtime uncredited co-creator of The Batman was honored in NYC the past weekend in a street naming ceremony in the Bronx.
NYC, and some of its iconic landmarks are represented and repurposed as a setting for cartoons like Batman, Spider Man, Superman and Hey Arnold! in the 1990s.
