23. Yankees Pride Night – June 21st
This June, the Yankees will host their first ever Pride Night. A portion of tickets from this game against the Seattle Mariners (and select other dates in the month of June) will benefit Heritage of Pride, the organization that runs New York City’s official LGBTQIA+ events, including the March, Pride Island, Youth Pride and other events. At the game, there will be an on-field featuring the Yankees-Stonewall Scholarship Initiative which awards five $10,000 scholarships to student leaders representing each of the five boroughs who have demonstrated academic achievement, a commitment to equality, and impactful support for the LGBTQ+ community. Guests at this game will receive a New York Yankees hat with the Yankees logo in the Progress Pride Flag colors, a hot dog and a free drink with a special event ticket.
