17. Pride Island, Brooklyn Army Terminal – June 25, 2:00 pm
Headlined by the one and only Christina Aguilera, Pride Island will end NYC pride week in a fun and uplifting way. This 21+ celebration at the Brooklyn Army Terminal will provide music to dance to, amazing food, and more. Tickets are $85.
18. Youth Pride, Domino Park – June 24, 12:00-6:00 pm, FREE
This youth event, designed specifically for LGBTQIA+ teens as well as allies, will include amazing music from DJs and performances from special guests at 15 River St. in Brooklyn. There will also be food, drinks, and games for you to celebrate your pride and amplify young voices in the queer community. This even is intended for ages 13 to 24.
19. Brooklyn Pride – Times vary
Brooklyn Pride will be hosting scores of events this month, like the classic Brooklyn Pride parade (5th Avenue, Brooklyn) and 5k run or walk (Prospect Park) on June 10. They also have an event specifically for queer kids and teenagers, Youth Pride (June 17, 4th Street, Brooklyn). Want to give back to the queer community? Brooklyn Pride also has volunteer opportunities so you can help out at the festival. Make sure to check out all options for participation in the festival, like running the 5k or watching and dancing at the mainstage performances by drag artists, hip-hop musicians, and more.
20. Teaze, Club Lambda Brooklyn – June 24, 2:00-10:00 pm
Four parties. One day. All parties feature BIPOC of the LGBTQIA+ community and music curated by amazing DJs and performers. The Black-and-queer-owned club is a top-tier club in Brooklyn at 1031 Grand St. This combination of parties at this cultural safe haven is an amazing way to celebrate your pride this month. Tickets are $27 and get must be 21+.
